In memoriam: Klaus Sarembe. The most willful man I met in my life. Twelve years ago I started the V8 project with him. Many hundreds of hours we spent together. Deliberating, building, testing, improving, day after day, week after week, year after year.

A free spirit who did not tolerate authority. No small talk, his yes was yes, his no was no. It was a great joy to work with him. I learned a lot from this craftsman.

This ball of energy was eventually taken down by a disease that could not be defeated. Klaus, I will miss you.
